All ages are invited to a Virtual Run/Walk at your own time from April 17, 2022 to April 23, 2022 in memory of George “Georgie” “GK4” Karusky, IV. All proceeds and donations go to help support the George Karusky, IV Memorial Foundation. The GK4 Foundation provides education opportunities for children in multiple ways while supporting the community at the same time. Runners/walkers will have the opportunity to do the event virtually - ANYTIME between April 17-23, 2022. Pick your own course. Below are some ideas: 1.) In honor of each of Georgie’s numbers, run/walk around the baseball field 19 times, the soccer field 25 times and the football field 6 times; or 2.) Walk the perimeter of Archbishop Ryan High School which is a 2K walk. Please post any photos you take and tag "GK4foundation" on Instagram and Facebook! It would be nice for all to see! We would like you to join us in-person at Archbishop Ryan High School on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. for a walk in Georgie's honor. The GK4 Memorial Foundation will be presenting the second annual two four-year scholarships to two students (a Raider and a Ragdoll) entering 9th grade at Archbishop Ryan High School for the school year of 2022-2023. Also, tickets will be for sale for raffle baskets and additional GK4 wear to purchase! Your registration for the run/walk includes one t-shirt and one participation medal. In order to guarantee your shirt for the in-person walk on 4/23/22, please have your order in by Sunday, 4/10/22. Shirt pick-up will be on Wednesday, 4/20/22 at 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, 4/21/22 at 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the south end field entrance (near the basketball court). If you cannot attend the pickup then, you can pick up on Saturday, 4/23/22 at 12:00 p.m. at the registration table at the walk. *We will follow the City of Philadelphia's Covid-19 health and safety guidelines.
