Join us for the annual family friendly 5K Run/Walk in beautiful FDR park in South Philadelphia! Every participant who registers by October 1st will receive a FACTS 5K t-shirt. Race packets will be distributed to registered FACTS students and families on October 13th. Friends of FACTS can pick up race packets at the school between 8am and 2pm on Thursday, October 13th or the morning of the race between 7am and 8am at FDR park. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top two overall finishers. Medals will be awarded to the top two finishers in the following five age groups: 10 and under, 11-17, 18-34, 35-45, 46+ Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Team with largest # of participants (based on team webpage) Best team website - Our middle school students will review the webpages and vote on the one with the best photo and message. Best costume - We're looking for great hats and crazy socks at FDR park. Get creative! Youngest participant - Who will be our youngest participant on race day at FDR park? School spirit - Get creative and show your pride for FACTS at FDR park! Not a runner? Join us as a walker. Participants will have the option of completing only 1 loop (about 1.5 miles). Register by September 30th for discounted rates: Adults $30 Students $15 Late Registration (October 1st - 9th): Adults and Students $30 On-Line Registration will be closed between October 10th and 14th. In-person Race Day Registration will be open from 7am-8am. All participants $35 each The FACTS 5K serves as a fundraiser for the Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School.
