Our annual Superhero 5K is back for its 9th year, on October 3rd, beginning at 9:00 AM. We’re going to be running for prevention in-person and virtually so you can participate in the walk/run fun wherever you are. Grab your Superhero capes, register, and get ready to help us stomp out stigma. All proceeds support families struggling with addiction and mental health throughout the Delaware Valley. The Superhero Run & Wellness Festival offers families prevention skills, builds awareness of substance abuse, and shares important resources. You have the opportunity to run or walk in the great outdoors, at Ridley Creek State Park, pavilions 11A and 11B or join in virtually. Grab your cape or mask, or just your shirt, and get ready to run and have fun while learning about prevention. All participants registering before September 25th will receive a tech-tee and a 5k box filled with fun items needed to have your own Superhero Run/Walk and Festival. If you come out to the park, expect to see fun family activities, community resources, and some exciting surprises. There will be fantastic fun, family activities at our in-person race so bring your kids, and friends including your furry dog companions. Prizes will be given for: • Top fundraising team captain • Fundraising team with the most participants (team with the most donors) • Best Superhero costume • Best Pet Superhero costume • Best Superhero Family • Most steps taken in one day (send us a picture of your Fitbit/iPhone/step counter) • Random prize drawings
