On site registration opens at 7:30am. Race starts at 8:30am.
Be a part of a community favorite that is celebrating its 7th year, albeit very differently this year. In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, this year's race will be held virtually. Run/walk/roll, record and send in your 5k time from July 4-July 12. If you choose to run our challenging course, spray painted pink "APC" arrows on road corners will guide you, and you can safely run on sidewalks on all the busiest of roads. Or do it on your own favorite 5k course.
Full instructions to participate: 1. Register for FREE here on RunTheDay. 2. Donate either canned goods or money. All proceeds go to the local Food Cupboard at the Inter-Faith Housing Alliance. 2a. Donations of a $20 minimum per person will get one of our world-famously comfy race shirts delivered to them. Donations of $15 minimum per person in a family of 4 or more will receive a shirt for every $15 donated by their family. 2b. Please specify sizes (we are not good guessers) and make sure we have a full address in your registration to get you shirts! 2c. Donations of canned goods should be placed in the storage bin in front of APC's upper parking lot's door from July 4-12. APC is at 1082 Old York Rd., Abington. 3. Run a 5k between July 4-12 and record your time. Please practice social distancing and CDC guidelines and complete the course safely. 4. Email your name, age, hometown, and finish time to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 13 so we can post results. 5. Send photos from your 5k to email@example.com so we can share your fun and dedication to fitness.
The race director will be at the race site July 11 from 7:30-10:30 a.m. to greet anyone running the course....and maybe to cool them off!
If you have any difficulty signing up or any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for continuing this fun community tradition! We hope to be back to normal in 2021!
