Results vary by race. Growth comes from a combination of runner experience, registration strategy, promotion, pricing and event execution — there's no single lever, and we're honest about that on our first call.

Why directors call us

Three things change
when you work with us

Outcome 01

Less work for you

One accountable team — not a registration vendor, a timer and a marketer who never talk.

Outcome 02

A smoother race day

Run The Day's unique combination of modern technology and professional timing teams makes race day less stressful.

Outcome 03

More registrations

Conversion-focused registration, a custom website built with AI, email sending capabilities, Instagram posts and optional paid promotion.

How it works

Work with us the way
that fits your race

Our engineers wrote the software and our crews are there on race day — so nothing gets lost between the software vendor taking registrations and the timing crew producing results at the finish.

Registration, fundraising, a race website, live results and a mobile app — plus a timing crew that shows up. One platform, one team.

Who we are

Founded to keep
traditions running

We keep traditions running

The Media 5 Mile started in 1980 and now fills State Street, selling out at 1,800 runners. On a race like this, continuity is the whole job — flawless timing, effortless registration, no reason to stop coming.
