This is a really fun, family friendly event. It is a fairly easy course, no major hills on a mostly shaded path. My husband and I are planning this run for the fourth year in a row. We have a son with autism so this event is very near and dear to our hearts. We are people who believe we can make a difference in the lives of individuals with autistic spectrum disorders and this run is one of the ways we can do that. Please come out and show your support - whether you run or walk or just come and buy raffle tickets - we will have some really good ones this year. We will also have a kiddie run with prizes for everyone, the tempo music choir will perform again, dj will provide family friendly entertainment and there will be plenty of refreshments.

We are excited to organize our 16th annual race, a benefit event for childhood cancer. Our race began as a tribute to Jake Darreff, who had a brave fight with cancer. In Jake's life, even so young, he showed his hope, love and caring for others. Jake was just three when he passed away from complications due to his cancer, a rare form of leukemia. To date, the Jake Race has raised thousands of dollars to aid families and children in Bucks County who have been touched by cancer.
Please enjoy our course, as you pass a historic sleeping place of George Washington and his troops, cross over the placid Neshaminy Creek, and revel in a shaded loop through a wooded and friendly neighborhood. Our course takes an out and back direction. Keep up your stamina on two challenging inclines. Enjoy the breezes and open strides on our downhills and flats. Always remember that as you run, you continue Jake's legacy of love, hope and caring! Thanks for coming out! Professional, accurate chip timing provided by Run The Day.

Join The Dragonboat Crew for it's first annual 5K Monster Mash Run/Walk. The Dragon Boat Crew has a two level dragon boat program. For a competitive team we offer a training program that promotes the sport of dragon boat racing and facilitates the development of strong minds and fit bodies through an intense team oriented training program to compete at the highest levels of dragon boat racing. We also have a recreational paddlers program. This program is for paddlers who want to compete but can not put as much time into work outs on land or on the water as the competitive team. Dragon Boating is a team racing sport that started in ancient China. With twenty paddlers, one drummer, and one steers-person on a boat; we work together to cross the finish line.
This year a portion of the proceeds from our race will be donated to the I'm Able Foundation. Read more about them at www.getupandmove.org.
