Set-Up and Timing

Run the Day provides organization, management, and timing services to ensure that your event is successful. We handle the demanding race day co-ordination, timing and results posting. We accurately wheel measure your course, provide mile markers and directional markings. This allows your event staff to fully concentrate on other event details.

We provide the following necessary items: start/finish signs, chute materials, traffic cones, starting sounds, megaphones, runner’s bibs, pins, awards and medals. Run the Day partners with event coordinators every step of the way to ensure all the bases are covered on race day.

Run the Day provides the following services:

Use this as a general guide to pricing and services, each race is different and we work with the race director to find an affordable and acceptable timing solution.

* assistance in purchasing quality, compatible race numbers

* guidance in design of event entry form (registration form)

* data entry of registrants if necessary

* race-day data entry

* training of registration volunteers

* online registration

* guidance in finish area layout and organization

* training of finish line volunteers

* accurate timing of your event

* large display finish line clock and stand, mile marker clocks if available

* announcer's computer or pre-race roster for identifying participants at the finish line

* results, preliminary and final, printed and posted

* complete printout of results in various forms

* electronic file of official results

* electronic file of mailing list and database

* individualized email results sent to participants with valid email addresses

* timing equipment for rental lease if you want to time your event yourself

* instant print results for runners to take home

FEE STRUCTURE - PULL TAG TIMING:

* $600 minimum fee $1.00 per participant over 250.

* $0 .50 per participant for data entry on the day of the race.

FEE STRUCTURE -CHRONOTRACK CHIP TIMING:

* $3.00 per participant with a $750 minimum timing fee, not including the $1.40 per participant cost of chips and bibs.

* $0 .50 per participant for data entry on the day of the race.

* $300 for additional timing stations (i.e. splits).

FEE STRUCTURE - OTHER EXPENSES:

* $0.60 per mile travel expenses round trip from Springfield, PA, if more then 20 miles away.

* Accommodations for Run the Day's crew if overnight stay is required.

* $200.00 per day rental for hand timing equipment if you want to time the event yourself.

* $100.00 cancellation fee.

* $40.00 Email marketing to over 9900 SEPA runners

* $10.00 Safety Pins per box 1240 pins.

* $3.50 Awards medals .
